Leblanc, Marcel (April 10, 1949 – April 16, 2022)
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcel Leblanc on April 16, 2022 after a lengthy illness at the age of 73.
Marcel will forever be remembered as having lived life well, loving his wife and family, and supporting all those closest to him. He worked for Canadian National Railways for 30 years and in his off time loved sports, his favourite was Hockey – go Boston go. During the winter months he travelled south to do some fishing in the Bahamas with his dear friends.
Marcel was a jolly guy that always had a smile on his face and he was the very essence of a bon vivant, who made everyone's day a little brighter.
Marcel is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Diane (nee Moreau) and son Sean, his brother Peter Leblanc and sister-in-law Marie, nieces and husbands, Manon and Marc, Josée and Richard, Chantal and Dominique, and their respective children: Jérémy, Danielle Larivière; Mikaela, Jonathan Couture; Nicolas, Zackary Meloche. He leaves behind his loving mother-in-law Joan Moreau (nee LaVictoire), son-in-law Larry MacIntosh, bother-in-law and sister-in-law Michael and Linda Moreau, Jérome and Ilona Moreau and Denis and Margie Moreau; Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law Nicole and Walter Klein; Suzanne and Robin Anderson, nieces and nephews: Maxime, Estelle, Drey, Daniel, Thomas, Sarah, Robby, Melanie, Elizabeth and 5 grand-children; Désirée and husband RickyLafleche, Orlando Kealey, Sébastien Kealey, Alexandre Brisson-Leblanc, Amber Morris and a great granddaughter Kloie Kuno.
Marcel was predeceased by his bother Roger Leblanc and his daughter Rachel MacIntosh (age 47 in November 2021) (nee Kealey-Leblanc).
