It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of

Marc Thériault

He passed away on May 27, 2018, at the age of 72.

He was predeceased by his wife Irene Russell, his parents Jacqueline Legault and François Thériault. He leaves behind his son Nicholas, his grand-daugther Nora.  He also leaves his brothers and sister: Pierre (Michèle Savard), Serge (Francine Moreault), Christiane (Pierre-Paul Bourque), Yves (Denise Pelletier) and Luc (Suzanne Lambert); his nephews and nieces: Maxime, Marie-Pier, Marie-Ève, Pascale, Gabriel and François as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, friends and colleagues. 

Visitations will be held at LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from 6 pm to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 13 at 11 am at St-Clement Church, 528 Old St. Patrick in Ottawa.

For those who wish to do so, donations to the Cancer Institute of the Gatineau Hospital would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank Marie-Françoise, Team Leader of the Intensive Care Unit at the Gatineau Hospital for her support and for the good care provided to him.

Dear Nick and Family.. My sincere condolences at the passing of your Dad. I knew he had not been well but thought he had won the battle. We spoke earlier in the year. And last year he went abroad to Italy. He was also redecorating the house. I really liked your Mom & Dad and thrived on their conversations about the Grace Family heritage. I learned a lot from them. Remember when you rented the old cottage at Blue Sea Lake ? I hope Nick you will always carry their spirit with you. And join me sometime for a nice visit at Blue Sea if you can this summer. La famille de Marc

Je veux vous offrir toute ma sympathie à l'occasion du décès de Marc. Nous avons travaillé ensemble à la polyvalente Le Carrefour à Gatineau pendant de nombreuses années.

Marc et moi n'étions pas des amis proches mais nous avions à l'occasion de belles conversations. Il avait un sens de l'humour particulier que j'appréciais.
