The news of Marc’s death came as terrible shock to us. So young ! Way too young to leave. We wish the family strength to grieve and survive their loss. Our sincere condolences.
I know Marc from work. We were project managers at IRCC. I keep in mind how eloquent he was in speaking, the kindness in his voice and his humour.
We had drinks twice or so with another friend/colleague of us. Was always a pleasure spending time w/ him or just the perspective.of the next time.
I wish you find enough strength to stay strong, adapt and continue your own journey despite his departure as this is what he would like.
I believe someone’s departure is simply the continuation of life through another shape, other realms, etc. So I trust he is just fine wherever he is…
Lucky are those in your company now. Bye my friend!
Our deepest condolences to you Léonie and your beautiful family as well everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Marc.
My condolences go out to the family and those closest to Marc. I have very fond memories of Oncle Marc dating back to when I was young girl at our family gatherings and weekend gourmet dinners at your house. He has been a wonderful uncle and brought so much joy to so many people. Mononcle Marc will deeply be missed. Thinking of you during these difficult times. Xox
It was with great sorrow that I heard of Marc’s passing. We were great friends dating back to the early 1980s working together on the Electronic Services team at The House of Commons. Much later, we again worked together at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. Marc was a great friend who embraced life and family. My sincere condolences.
Our sincere heartfelt condolences to you & your family we keep you close to our heart
My life was blessed through your friendship. May you find blessings in the next life, dear friend.
Like a comet
Blazing 'cross the evening sky
Gone too soon
Like a rainbow
Fading in the twinkling of an eye
Gone too soon
Shiny and sparkly
And splendidly bright
Here one day
Gone one night
Like the loss of sunlight
On a cloudy afternoon
Gone too soon
Like a castle
Built upon a sandy beach
Gone too soon
Like a perfect flower
That is just beyond your reach
Gone too soon
Born to amuse, to inspire, to delight
Here one day
Gone one night
Like a sunset
Dying with the rising of the moon
Gone too soon

J’aimerais vous offrir mes sincères condoléances Léonie. Quelle triste nouvelle!

Our paths may have changed as life goes along, but the bond between us remains ever strong. I was blessed to chat with you these last few years and brought great peace to my soul.
Your friendship was a blessing, and I will miss you every day.
Thank you for touching my life in ways you may never have known. Goodbye, dear friend. Until we meet again>
Chere Leonie,
I heard that the best day to plant a tree is yesterday. The same is true with making the most of life and telling a loved one how much they mean to you. I wish that I had told Marc how much he meant to me and shared with him all of the memories I have with you both. Please know that I treasure the moments I have had with you and Marc over the years. I look forward to sharing more laughs and creating new memories with you.
I hope this tree matures and illuminates its environment, the way that Marc always did.
Je t'aime sincerement,
Val

We are so sorry to hear of Marc’s passing. I just found out Oct 17 and that is why I am so late to let you know how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I haven’t lived in Timmins for over 25 years and lost touch with many of my relatives.
It is with our sincere condolences and sympathy to all of you.
I remember the times when Marc and I used to visit our Memere Bouvier. She would entertain us with her beautiful stories throughout her life. Sometime Marc and I were not paying attention and would have a little grin on our faces and memere would ask us if we were laughing at her. This was not the case, we were just kids and our train of thought was ok, we want to go play now. The look in her eye’s, when she looked back at us, we knew to pay attention. After the stories she would give us a treat. She was the best but very cross.
Just thought I’d share a little story as some of my memories of Marc and myself.
You will always be in my memories as you will be missed in our hearts.
R.I.P. Marc ️
Léonie I was so sorry and surprised to hear about Marc’s passing. My condolences to you and your family. We spent many hours sitting with together watching our guys on stage in Timmins. So much talent.
