1916 - 2012

Mae Peddie, a resident of Temiskaming Lodge in Haileybury for the past seven years, died Monday, February 6, 2012, at the Temiskaming Lodge. Born to David and Sophia Gower in Cardwell Township on February 1, 1916, she was married to David Peddie. Mrs. Peddie was a homemaker and worked on her own farm. She liked to knit, read and garden. She enjoyed her friends, family and grandchildren. She was a member of the Trinity Anglican Church. Mrs. Peddie is survived by her daughter-in-law Tammy, her children Barbara (John), Margaret, Ray (Gail), Howard (Nancy), and Brian (Tammy). Her husband David predeceased her on February 2, 1989 at the Temiskaming Hospital. Her son Carl Peddie and her sons-in-law Art Griese and Harold Griese also predeceased her. The funeral was arranged by Perrin Funeral Chapel in New Liskeard. Reverend Michael Fedechko conducted the service. Pallbearers were David Griese, Steven Griese, Dennis Peddie, Jeffery Peddie, Chancey Peddie, and Rick Needham. Spring interment will take place at the New Liskeard Pioneer Cemetery. Condolences and donations may be left at www.perrinfuneralchapel.com. Donations may be made to the Temiskaming Hospital Cat Scan Fund and the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
