It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of

Madeleine Labelle Geoffrion on October 24th, 2018 at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of the late Henri Geoffrion and daughter of the late Roch Philippe Labelle and of late Irène Dehaître. She leaves behind her loving son Philippe (Louise); her cherished grandchildren Jean-Philippe and Pascale (Jason) and one great-granchild Mackenzie Wolf as well as Esther Desjardins-Brayne (mother to Jean-Philippe and Pascale). She also leaves her brother Guy; her sister Marcelle (Raymond) and two bothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Philip, Hank and Leo as well as her sisters Aline and Jeanne.

Visitations will be held at LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Saturday the 10th of November 2018, from 12:30 to 2:00 pm .The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm.

For those who wish to do so, donations to the Canadian Red Cross or to Hospice Care Ottawa (May Court Hospice) would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Cross and Dr. Douglas as well as the May Court Hospice team for their support and their good care.

In memory of Madeleine, the wearing of something red would be very appreciated.

Madeleine, you look so beautiful in this picture. Just the way I remember you.
I was so happy to see you in Ottawa when I was there and to get know your son Phil.it had been way to many years since we had scene each other but you were as beautiful as I remembered. I'm glad we had the opportunity to talk back at the house after dads funeral.

You were an angel on earth and now you are an angel in heaven....may you rest in peace and join the rest of the family up there. I know dad will be happy to see you.

Family meant everything to Aunt Madeleine, and I know that our lives will be missing a key element with the loss of this lovely lady. To all of you, We would like to offer our heartfelt sympathy and affection at this sad time. Madeleine was one special lady, we were so blessed to have known her.

Mon frere de coeur,,Phil..

A mon frere d ecole,,,,,,,tu sais qu elle etait comme ma seconde mere pour moi,,,etant ton frere de coeur,,,,,,toujours le sourire malgre nos mauvais coups--avec la complicite de ton pere aussi!! Impossible de l oublier ou meme de la faire facher!! ( bon des fois!)

Certain Dad devait l attendre a la porte d entree de l autre vie!!..avec une coupe de vin!!
