CHÊNEVERT (NÉE BEAUDRY), Madeleine

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Madeleine Chênevert (née Beaudry) on September 30, 2021, at the age of 93, almost five years after having lost her beloved husband Guy Chênevert.

She leaves behind her daughters Nicole (Bernard Miquelon) and Danielle (David Torchia), her grandchildren Marianne (Michel), Michel (Parya) and Misha (Lisa) and her great-granddaughters Élise and Delara. She also leaves her sisters-in-law Lyse and Micheline, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Born in Ottawa, she was the daughter of the late Amélia Daoust and Alphonse Beaudry, and was predeceased by her brother Gabriel.

Madeleine was an optimist who always saw the bright side of things. She was a true fashionista and a stylish dresser until the last few days of her life. Family was everything to her. She became a great-grandmother this year and it brought her tremendous joy.

A celebration of her life will be held for the immediate family.

For those who wish to do so, donations to the United Way would be appreciated.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Garry J. Armstrong residence for their support and good care.

Danielle, Nicole and family

It truly saddens me to learn of Madeleine's passing. My heart goes out to you and your families. I have so many fond memories of our many, many dinners with her and Guy. She was such a stylish beautiful woman, both inside and out, always gentle and ready to laugh. She loved you all so much and I have no doubt that she is in the "first class" section, wherever she is.
