It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved Lucie Alain, who peacefully departed on March 13th at the age of 60. She was the beloved daughter of the late Robert E. Alain (Lilliane Norris-Alain) and Paulette Lanthier.
Born on June 30th, 1964 in Ottawa, Lucie was a beacon of humour and a cherished member of our family. She will be forever remembered for her infectious smile, as well as for her love of her family and pets.
Lucie is survived by her mother, her loving partner Neil Hone, her stepsons Noah, Ewan and Adam, her siblings Lisa, Nicole, Robert and Melissa as well as her nieces and nephews Amber-Lyn, Kyle, Kaitlin, Alex, Amanda, Julia, Taya, Christian, Brooklyn and Xavier and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on March 27th at 2 pm at La Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 95 de la Cité des Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau, QC. The family will receive condolences as of 1:30pm. It will also be possible to view the ceremony, live or by replay, via https://commemora.tv/fr/diffusions/104632
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Lucie Alain’s memory.
