1964 - 2024

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Lorrie Souriol, on October 28th, 2024.

Lorrie is predeceased by her parents William and Helen (nee Stewart) Nichol, her husband Bobby Souriol, daughters Bobby-Ann and Tammy Lynn Souriol. Left to mourn are her spouse Mick Barett, her son Tyler Davis, her brother Bill Nichol (Cathy Poupore), her grandson Caden Souriol, her great granddaughter Brynn Metzinger-Souriol, her uncle Jim Nichol, aunt Bonnie Borden and her cousins Stewart, Sherry, John, Doug, Brian, Steve, Tanya, Sandy and Barton as well as many nieces and nephews.

Lorrie had a huge heart. She was fiercely loving and loyal when it came to her family. Lorrie loved a good meal surrounded by family and friends. She was well known for her cooking and she loved trying new recipes to feed the family. In her younger years, Lorrie was an avid curler, and every chance she got, she enjoyed her time out at the cottage at Round Lake.

Donations in Lorrie’s memory can be made to the Kirkland Lake Curling Club.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative (111 Burnside Dr, Kirkland Lake) Sunday Dec 8th at 12:00 p.m.  All are welcome to come share in the Memory of Lorrie. A Celebration of life will be held directly following the service at the Kirkland Lake Curling Club.
