Peacefully at the Hotel Dieu on Sunday, April 24, 2022, Laura Betts Passed away in her 87th year. She was the beloved daughter of the late Ralph W. Betts and the Late Ella G. Oldfield; wife of the Late Leo Fleury; mother of Owen (Caroline Gordon), Pamela (Maurice Fortin), and the late Mary Ann; dear sister of the late Victor (late Gwen), the late Merrill, the late Roy (Grayce), the late Lawrence, the late Charles, the late twin Lloyd (Madelyn); and sister-in-law to Scottina (late Bill Wilson). She will be missed by her 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
The family would like to thank all the personnel on the 4th floor (C) at Hotel Dieu for their care and keeping Mrs. Betts comfortable in her last days.
There will be a visitation at the Cooperative Funéraire de l’Estrie, 146 Rue Angus N, East Angus, on Saturday May 14, between 2-4 pm. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
