Brazeau, Kenneth

BRAZEAU, Kenneth

1934 - 2022

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Kenneth Brazeau on December 21, 2022, at the age of 88. His sudden departure will leave a huge void in our lives. Always in our hearts Sweet Dada.

Beloved husband of 60 years to Roselyne (née Turpin); loved and cherished father to Michel (Carole Hupé), Claude (Brenda Whiteduck) and Marie-Josée (Erik Ménard); ever so fun, teasing, loving and proud grandfather “Dada” to Alexi (Simon), Rose (Olivier), Émilie (Izaak), Jasmine, Tommy and Mikayla.

Son of the late John Brazeau and Victoria Dumont. He is survived by siblings Sam, Jeanine, Evelyne and Terry. Kenneth joins Ella, Norman, Jack and Annette who have journeyed to the spirit world.

Kenneth also leaves behind many numerous family members and friends who will remember him as a pilar of love, great sense of humour, integrity and faith.

He will also be remembered by his children and grandchildren as a model for the pursuit of excellence in all our relations and in all we do, his wonderful joie de vivre and laugh, and for having done it “My Way”, during his 35 years working with Bell Canada, and in his personal life on Mother Earth.

A celebration of life and prayer will be held at La Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 95 de la Cité des Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau (Hull) on February 5, 2022 at 2 pm. The family will receive condolences as of 1:15 pm

The family sincerely wishes to thank the first responders for their humanism and professionalism.

The Ken Brazeau Family

I was very saddened to hear of Ken's passing. I have so many fond memories of the family reunions and the master teasing that Ken was so good at. Forever a smile and a word of advice, he was such a good person, easy to love and feel like you could trust right away. A great joie de vie was his legacy for all of us to carry on. I wish you all God's peace. Love George Langill.

Roselyne, Michel, Claude, Marie-Josee and the Brazeau family

I was sadden to hear of Ken's passing. I enjoyed working with Ken at Holy Rosary Parish and the fun of hearing stories Ken told about his family...they were always told to bring joyful memories of those who helped make him the person that he was. I wish to express my deep feeling of sadness to Roselyne, Michel, Claude, and Marie-Josee. Your husband and dad was one unique man, who made you laugh and know truly that you were and are loved. Ken teased you and always got you to see positive part of life, even when things were not so positive. May you remember Ken as a person of peace and joy.
