In loving memory of Kaye Watters, who passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the age of 83 years.
Kaye was pre-deceased by her husband Porky Watters, daughter Shelley Herbert-Shea, her sister Norma Pardy and her father and mother Charles and Evelyn Jackson. She is survived by her daughter Lynn (Larry Baldovin), her granddaughters Kaylin (Justin Marmara), Samantha (Jeff Slemon), Casey (Mike Beaulieu), and Vanessa (Justin Maille), her sister Dawn (David Buckley), son-in law Richard Shea and Rick (Cindy Barron). She will also be greatly missed by her great-grandchildren Jaxon, Ellie, Audrey and Cole, who loved to visit GG’s farm, particularly to enjoy cookies and snacks with her.
Kaye was a compassionate and caring woman from a young age, starting her career as a nurse in Misericordia Hospital in Haileybury and finished her profession at the Temiskaming Hospital in New Liskeard. She was also the glue to help successfully own and operate a Scrap Metal Recycling family business for over 30 years. She will be remembered for her love for the sun and the countless family gatherings at the cottage. Kaye will also forever hold the title of best-dressed Mom and Nana. She was always so generous to her girls, granddaughters and great grandkids.
The Watters family extends their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Chris Blount for all his support and care over the last years and to the end.

As per Kaye’s wishes, a private burial will take place and she will be put to rest to be reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.

I do realize we are not immortal! When we loose someone so near and dear to us , like Kaye was , it’s even more difficult to accept that she has passed away .
Kaye was a great friend to so many and I am thankful she considered me a friend . I was blessed to have been invited to many family gatherings. Especially those turkey dinners with a crowd of people around enjoying food and conversation!
Kaye was such a kind and giving soul . Of herself and of what she had . I was a recipient of her endless kindness and I will never forget what she , Porky and Shelley and yourself did for me .
Kaye will always remain in my heart forever. As will that infectious laugh.
