Passed away at The Wales Home, Richmond on June 6, 2022, Mrs. Kathleen Harding-Hurd at the age of 99. Loving daughter of the late Wendell and Irene Ward, and wife of the late Lorne Harding and of the late Lionel Hurd.
Kay leaves to mourn her loving daughter Ann Harding (the late John McIllmurray), her dear grandchildren Andrew (Raquel) and Heather (Brad Sears), her great grandchildren Max, Jake, Ava and Lennon, sisters Bette, Joyce, Janice and Gladys, and her sisters-in-law Betty and Mary, her stepsons Jim Hurd and Fred Hurd and their families. Kay was pre-deceased by her sister Dulcie and her brothers Morris and Norman. Kay also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), where friends may visit on Sunday, July 3rd from 2 – 5pm, and on Monday, July 4th from 10-11am. A funeral service will be held at Cass Funeral Home on Monday, July 4th at 11am. Interment in the Eaton cemetery.
Donations to the Eaton Cemetery Assoc. or to the Wales Home Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Kay’s family is deeply grateful for the high standard of care that she received at the Wales Home.
