OLSON (NEE BLANCHETTE), KATHLEEN (KAY) July 2, 1929 – March 11, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kay Olson, age 85, of Fergus, Ontario, formerly of Bury, Quebec. She died at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on March 11, 2015 with her family by her side, as a result of a heart attack. Wife of the late Glen Olson, she is survived by her daughter Wendy-Lynne Olson, grandson Rocky Coates (Stephanie), great grandsons Nicolas and Emmett Coates, daughter Nancy-Lee Olson-Barkhouse (the late Frank) and grandson Gunnar Barkhouse, as well as many friends and extended family. Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Bury, QC on Friday, March 20th, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on March 21st, 2015 followed immediately by burial at the Bury cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bury Cemetery, 568 Main St., Bury, QC J0B 1J0 or to the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged.
