Oh Alison. I am so sorry to hear of your dads passing. He was part of a large chapter in my early life. They were lovely years at the cottage and your dad was so suave and cool at the same time. He loved the parties at the marina. I remember him coming home from them to very disapproving parents…but hey, isn’t that part of life, too. We had some great times when we were older and Dan and I were still visiting the lake.
Covid has left us without our usual traditions and celebrations, but please think to include us in those special moments, if you plan to share them, down the road. Hugs for now, Sylvia

What a beautiful obituary. John was a great friend with a fantastic sense of humour. He will be sadly missed.

So sorry for your loss Alison,
I can still hear your dads laugh in the back of my mind. He was a funny guy who I wished I could have spent more time with. Much love from our family to you!
all the best

Alison, I send warm hugs your way, so sorry to hear this. John was a wonderful neighbor and friend. We spent many afternoons on the deck enjoying a scotch or two! John loved the cottage and the lake, sitting outside by the fire with the music on. Where ever you are John, I know that it is a better place and with hope we meet again someday.
Glenn.
