SPENCE, John

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. John Spence on February 27, 2025, at the age of 93.  He was the husband of Mrs. Lily Bergeron and the son of the late Dalton Spence and of the late Laure Charbonneau.

Apart from his wife, he leaves behind his children Paul (Robert) and JoAnne (Yvon); his grandchildren Francis (Marie-Christine) and Valérie (Francis), his great-granddaughter Romy as well as many friends.  He was predeceased by his brother Ronald.

In order to respect his wishes, there will be a celebration to honour his life in the privacy of his family.

In lieu of flowers a donation the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or to the Outaouais Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the personnel of the Chartwell Residence – Domaine des Trembles.
