GUENETTE, John Albert
1941 - 2024
It is with sadness that we inform you of the passing of Mr. John A. Guenette on April 6, at the age of 83. Born in Maniwaki, son of the late Hector Guenette and the late Claudia McAllister. He is survived by his children Denis (Line Rossignol and his children Philippe and Vincent Richer as well as the grandchildren Isaak, Mia, Emma and Camille) and Styve who deceased in 2011 (Lise D'aoust deceased in 2004), his little-son Maxim (Alexandra M. Thibault) and his great-grandson Jamie.
He also leaves his sisters Lorena (Paul Arsenault deceased in 2020), Carroll (Robin Roby Miles deceased in 2019) and his brothers Wayne (Sheila Thibault), Reid as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins and his friends, especially his important friends in his life, Diane Delauniere, Louise Poirier, his loves Paula Noel and Carmina Pharrel Maceus Princesse.
A special thank you to his friend Andrée Archambeault for her dedication and compassion in supporting the last stage of his life.
He will be exhibited at the COOPERATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 95, boul. Cité-des-Jeunes in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Friday May 3rd from 8:30 to 11:15 followed by a celebration of his life, lunch and burial at the Saint-Redempteur cemetery.
The family will receive condolences prior to the ceremony beginning at 8:30.
The family would like to thank the staff of CISSS Hôpital de Gatineau 6e Nord and Palliative Care 5e Nord for the good care provided.
