By sheer coincidence I ran into this announcement of Joanne’s passing today. I haven’t seen her in quite a while but I was just telling someone a Joanne story yesterday. I have the greatest memories of us in high school; Going to Paul’s, cruising Main Street, going to the prom, lunch and spare spent uptown. After high school we would met up to go shopping, and we would treat each other to Red Lobster on our birthdays. When I moved to Florida I looked forward to visiting her every summer when I came up to visit my family. We even went camping one summer . We spent a lot of time together and had a great time. That was a long time ago, and we both have very different lives now but she was one of my best friends. I feel for all of you that she left behind. i can’t imagine how you are handling such a loss but my thoughts and prayers are with you.
My deepest sympathies Max and all of yours and Joannes family for your great lost. I've known Joanne since I was a tiny kid living in Alexandria. She was a great person with a great heart. A real ray of sunshine each time you saw her or spoke to her. Miss you girlfriend. God has gained a beautiful angel by his side when you left us. Till we meet again. Xoxoxo
