Passed away peacefully at Grace Village on Monday, October 2 in her 107th year after a long and full life. Beloved mother of Heather (James Sweeny) and Nora. Cherished grandmother of Claire, Mary (Jean-Marc Francius), Bridget (Chris Maynard), Keira, Johanne, and Tamara and much loved great-grandmother of Xavier, Lewis, Arsène, Gareth, Hannah, William and Elianna.
Visitation will take place at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College Street, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville Borough) on Thursday, October 5 from 2 – 4 p.m. and from 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral will take place on Friday, October 6 at St. Mark’s Chapel, Bishop’s University at 2 p.m.
Donations to The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund, 80 Hayden Street, Toronto, ON. M4Y 3G2 or The Dr. W. J. Klinck Foundation, 1515 Pleasant View, Sherbrooke, QC. J1M 0C6 would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Grace Village for the kindness and loving care they gave to Joan.
