It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of

Jeannine Dumais

on February 3rd, 2022 at the age of 92.

Daughter of  of the late Alfred Dumais and the late Lauria Couvillon.  She was the loving mother of Sylvie (Ashok Bhola), Nicole (Denis Dagenais) and Serge (Sylvie Legault).  Dear grandmother of Melanie, Rajiv, Neel, Vikrum, Jean-Marc and Isabelle.  Great-grandmother of Myka and Evelyn.  She will be missed by her sisters Gabrielle and Huguette and her brother Denis and many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by her sister Constance.

In order to comply with government restrictions on COVID-19, only those invited by the family may attend the celebration of prayers which will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at  95 de la Cité des Jeunes Bvld, in Gatineau (Hull Sector) on Saturday, March 5th, 2022 at 2:00 pm .The family will receive condolences at 1:15 pm.  The webcast of the ceremony will be available via the following link : https://commemora.tv/fr/diffusions/47013

My sincere condolences on the passing of Jeannine - she lived a long life filled with love from her children, grandchildren, family and friends and will be missed by all. My Mom was so happy to have spent the last few years of her life spending more time with her sister and I find it comforting to know they are now once again reunited and enjoying a new life.
