CAUCHY BROWNRIGG, Jeannine
1927 - 2022
It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our mother
Jeannine Marie-Paule Brownrigg (née Cauchy).
She passed away peacefully in the presence of family on 27 July 2022 at the age of 95. Daughter of Arthur Cauchy and Flore Latulippe. She was the beloved wife of John Emmett Blake Brownrigg (deceased 2001) and loving mother of David (Elizabeth), Paul (Margaret Webb), Alan (Paula Borges), Jim (Diane Joanisse), Liane (Roland Lavoie), Patrice van der Schoot (Hans), Arthur (Anne St-Jean). She had a long and fulfilling career as a French second language teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board.
Grandmother to 13 grandchildren and great grandmother to 6 great grandchildren.
She will be missed by her brother Pierre and sister Claire as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Venant and Réal and her sister Madeleine.
Visitations will be held at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 95 boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes in Gatineau, Quebec on 26 August from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and the 27th from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Funeral service will be held on 3 September at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen’s church, 212 Old Chelsea Road in Chelsea, Quebec. Reception to follow at the Meredith Centre in Chelsea, 23 Cecil Road, starting at
12:00 PM.
The family wishes to thank the personnel at the Château Symmes Residence in Aylmer as well as those at the Hull hospital for the loving care of their mother.
