Mrs Jeanne D'Arc (Joan) Monette Alie

passed away on July 5, 2018 at La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie, at the age of 89. She was the wife of the late Guy Alie and the daughter of the late Patrick Monette and the late Valtina Rowe. She is survived by her children : Yves (Jenna MacKay), Nicole, Suzanne (John Gulyas) and Caroll-Ann; her grandchildren : Tristan Alie and Jacob Alie-Rosenberg as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins ​​and friends. She was predeceased by her 2 brothers : Patrick and Réginald Monette.

The religious service will take place on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 2 p.m. at La Visitation Church located at 14, Principale Street in Gracefield. The family will receive condolences at the church starting at 1 p.m.

Jeanne D'Arc fut mon mentor lors de mon arrivée à Gracefield en 1969. Je commençais ma carrière comme professeur. Elle m'a guidée et accueillie dans la famille, m'a fait découvrir le ski et elle restera toujours une personne vibrante, chaleureuse et unique.
