PAQUET, Jean-Yves

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Jean-Yves Paquet on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the age of 83.  Retired from the National Gallery of Canada, Jean-Yves appreciated the art in all things.

Jean-Yves is survived by his brother Jacques (Diane), and sisters Charlotte (Jake Ryan) and Jocelyne.  Jean-Yves was predeceased by his older brother Gilles and his wife Muriel. Jean-Yves is also mourned by three generations of nieces and nephews along with his dearest and most treasured friend, Joji John.  He will also be missed by numerous other friends here as well as in Germany and India. 

A celebration of his life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at 95, Cité-des-Jeunes Bvld, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m . The family will receive condolences starting at 1:45 p.m.  The webcast of the ceremony will be available live or on replay via the following link: https://commemora.tv/en/diffusions/50803
