1961 - 2025

James (Jimmy) Richard Hewitt passed peacefully at home in Kirkland Lake on Sunday March 02, 2025 at the age of 64, after courageous his battle with cancer.

Jimmy will be fondly remembered by his children Marcia Matthews (Cory), Lynn Clouthier (Mike), Crystal Hewitt (Chad), Marcia Reid, James Hewitt (Jade), Rose Hewitt and Kenny Hewitt. Grandchildren Keyanna, Owen, Braeden, Jordan, Emma, Ethan, Shay-Lyn, Kaiden, Dakota, Ryerson, Jenson, Dustin, Brooklyn, Avery, Carter and Fletcher. Granddaughter Lena, as well as Great Grandchildren Theo and Phoebe. Dear brother of Thomas(Tina), Margo (Roger), Patty (Barb) and Linda (Lloyd).

Predeceased by his parents Margaret Hewitt (Kennedy), August Giroux and Thomas Hewitt and siblings Lilas, Billy, Davina and Anna. Jimmy will be fondly remembered by several Nieces and Nephews.

Special Thanks to his loving carers in his final months Kiley, Helen and Mansi for all the support and love you have shown.

A celebration of Life will be held in Renfrew for Jimmy at a later date to be announced. Donations in his memory may be made to the Cancer Foundation.

I am so sorry for your loss, I knew Jim when we all lived in Arnprior.
I thought Jim was a nice guy....and he loved to make people laugh. I was surprised to hear of his passing, my thoughts and prayers go out to all the family. ️
