1943 - 2025
Jim Horton passed away suddenly on February 8, 2025. He was the much loved husband of Kathy Carriere. Predeceased by his parents: Thomas Horton and Yvette Plouffe, his parents-in- law: Lowell Carriere and Rose Murphy and his sister Gail (Cliff Tessier).
Cherishing his memory are his brother Ron, his brothers-in-law: Jim (Francine), Tom (Judy), Larry (Christine), sister-in-law Nancy (Robbie) and many nieces and nephews.
Jim will be missed by his relatives, neighbours, and the friends who shared his passions. His hunting and fishing companions, his pool-playing and snowmobiling buddies will feel his absence. He will be remembered fondly by friends and neighbours at his cottage at Lake O’Neil and in the village of Notre-Dame-du-Laus (QC).
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

How lucky were we to have been blessed with such a wonderful man in our lives, which also makes the loss more profound. I’ve been picturing him with Mom and Grandma and Grandpa. So very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing! So many memories flood my mind of our younger years and Scouts, etc. The fun times with the Fortiers, Hortons including cousin Bob, as well as the McGraths. Jim was always a fun guy who was kind and helpful. May he Rest In Peace.

Denise et moi voulons t'offrir toutes nos condoléances pour la perte d'un être cher. Tout le monde aimait Jim , il était drôle, il était sympathique, il pouvait parlé de tout.
