Helen was also well-known for her bowling prowess. Although she thought it was a “stupid game” and she threatened to leave us to go curling, she was always the first team member to show up! You will be truly missed, my little friend. Rest easy!

Helen was a kind and wonderful person. I was lucky to have been able to call her my friend. The world was a better place with Helen in it. We always enjoyed many laughs together and I will miss her dearly.

I was saddened to see that Helen passed away. Many fond, fun memories from years ago playing broom all.
Condolences to all.

To Helen's FRiends - her FRamily

Helen lived her life exactly as she wanted and that is so much better than not at all. Through condolence messages I can see she had a good circle of friends sharing fun and laughter. I am not surprised to hear she maintained a competitive edge in bowling. She was quite fierce on a ball field too. I remember going to watch her catch quite a few games when we were younger. She was pretty good with a baseball bat too.

Although we have always led very separate lives and our paths quite different, there were never any unkind words or harsh moments.

THANK YOU to all her friends for surrounding her with good times and your love.

May she rest in peace ... although I suspect she will be "stirring the pot up" with past family and friends somewhere.
