BAIN ROGERS, Hazel

Hazel Alberta Rogers (nee Bain) 1919-2014 Hazel Rogers passed away peacefully on Saturday January 18, 2014 at the Wales Home, Richmond, QC, in her 95th year. She was born in East-Clifton, QC, daughter of the late John Bain and the late Mary Reed. She was also the stepdaughter of the late Idella (Kingsley) Rogers Bain. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Arthur Kingsley Rogers, her daughter-in-law Darlene (Fearon) Rogers, her grandsons Robert and Steven and her great grandson Nathaniel Rogers. She is also survived by her sister Shirley Barter (Meredith). She was predeceased by her sons; Bain (Darlene) and Gordon (the late Carole Labrecque), her sister-in-law, the late Myrtle (Rogers) Harrison (Alvin), her brother-in-law, the late Herman Rogers. Hazel is survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) on Friday January 24, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday January 25, 2014 from 1 to 2 pm followed by funeral service at 2 pm. Rev. Martyn Sadler officiating. Interment in Eaton Cemetery at a later date.
