ROLLINS SMITH, Hattie

Hattie Melba Rollins Smith of Stanstead Qc., formerly of Granby Qc., passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012, in the presence of her loving family and caregivers. Precious wife of the late Leonard E. Smith. Hattie was first and foremost a loving daughter and sister. Adoring mother of Garth L. Smith (Joyce) Burlington Ontario and Kathryn D.Aiken (Alan) Newport Vermont. She was an aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a long time member of the Granby United Church and of the Rebekah Assembly where Hattie held several honourable positions. A talented and intelligent woman. Hattie will be remembered best for her wit, spunk and ageless outlook on life. A Celebration of her Life will be held on May 19, 2012 at 11a.m.. in the United Church in Newport Vermont.
