1940 - 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory Brunet on September 3rd, 2024, at the age of 84.

Lovingly remembered by his wife Lucille Beaupré, his children: Dennis (Rita), Lynn (Art) and Mark (Gail); his grandchildren: Kimberly (Marc-Olivier), Stéphanie (Jean-Michel), Justin (Alexandra) and Erica (Colin) and his great-grandson Louis. He was the son of the late Lucien Brunet and the late Violet McStravick, brother to Bruce and Maynard (deceased).  He also leaves behind his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 A celebration of Greg's life will be held on Thursday, September 19th, 2024, at 11 am at St. Mark's Catholic Church located at 160 Principale Street in Gatineau (Aylmer sector). The family will receive condolences as of 10:30 am.

The family wishes to thank the staff of La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie for their support and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations to La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie will be appreciated.

The Brunet Family

I have so many fond memories of our days at the Mint. Greg always made me smile and laugh. Emma Phillips and I would jokingly call him Oscar the Grouch which would make him smile. He was an amazing man and my heart hurts for all of you. May you rest in peace my friend. Hugs to all of you

LUCILLE & FAMILY

Greg was my 1st cousin, and I have many fond memories of our time together as teenagers.
Although I have not seen him for many years, on those occasions that we ran into each other it was as though it was yesterday. My condolences to Lucille all the children and to his brother Bruce whom I see from time to time.
