RUTTAN, Gordon Leonard

1950 - 2023

In loving memory of Gordon Leonard Ruttan who passed away Tuesday, September 26th, 2023 at New Liskeard Hospital at the age of 72.

Beloved father of Bobbi-Lynn and Bradley, Grandfather to Jamie and Justin Stokes.

Predeceased by his parents Mildred and Westly Ruttan. He is survived by his brother Norman, sisters; June, Sheila, Leona (Dan) and Barbara (Wes).                                                              

Gord was born October 14, 1950 in New Liskeard, ON. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and family gatherings. He had a great personality. We loved listening to his stories and he always made us laugh.

He lived in Kenabeek until he moved south. He worked at Toyota then Hostess and Frito-Lay until he retired. Living in Jackson's Point most of the time until he moved to Belle Vallée three years ago.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 at the Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative, 128 Whitewood Avenue West, New Liskeard from 10 – 11 a.m. A Graveside Service will follow at Henwood Rose Grove Cemetery in Kenabeek with Pastor Rudy Koufmann officiating.

In memory of Gordon, flowers may be sent to the Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative for the Ruttan family.
