It is with deepest sympathies we announce the sudden passing of

Gilles Bordeleau

Passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband of Yvonne Dufour (predeceased) and the son of the late Rolland-Paul Bordeleau and the late Yvette Baron. He was the loving father of Ginette (Michel Martineau), Daniel (Suzanne Bouchard) and Carole (late Gilles Dupéré); grandfather of Jonathan (Célyne Robinson), Benoit (Janie Lafrenière), Alexis, Cassandra (Rami Sabouni) and great-grandfather of Daphnée, Delphine, Dolilah, Dorothé, Florence, Louis and Abdul Rahim. He also leaves his brothers : Yves, André, Marcel and also a brother-in-law, several sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a sister Hélène Saucier.

A simple celebration, in the presence of the ashes, will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard, Gatineau, Quebec, J8Y 6X3 (Hull sector). The family will receive condolences beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The family would like to thank the staff of Domaine des Trembles and the Hull Hospital for the good care they provided.

Ma mère habite au Domaine des Trembles depuis quelques années. En allant la visiter, j'ai fait la connaissance de votre père pour qui je me suis prise d'affection. J'allais lui faire des câlins à chaque fois que je le croisais. Il me les rendait bien en ricanant. Il m'appelait sa petite rougette.
Votre père me manquera. Sa gentillesse était appréciée de tous à la résidence.
