It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gérard A. Soulière on September 14th, 2018, at the age of 98.

Beloved husband of late Liliane Dorion .  He was the son of late Edmond Soulière and late Marie Rose-de-Lima Sinclair. He leaves behind his children: Jean-Claude (Monique Chénier), André, Guy (Johanne Ranger), Cécile (Carl Samson) and Julie; his grandchildren: Myriam, Bruno, Raphaël, Mélanie, Michelle, Jacob, Maeghan, Gabriel and Annie; his great-granchildren: Benjamin, Élie, Marc-Olivier and Liliane. He also leaves his brother Maurice (Ginette Granger); his sisters : Anne-Marie and Clairette (René Campeau) and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.He was predeceased by his brothers and his sister: Lionel, Paul-Émile, Roger and Irene.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday the 22nd of September 2018 at 11:00 am at  St-Paul Church, located at 26 Eardley Road In Gatineau ( Aylmer sector). Condolences will be received at 10:00 am.

Gérard Souliere

Condolences to his son André and to the rest of the family of Gerry Souliere. I have known and liked Gerry Souliere since I first joined the patent office (now known as CIPO) in 1965. He was a true gentleman. They say that the good die young. Gerry was 98 years of age. So here is a case where the good died old. Gerry attended regularly our retirees annual luncheon from 1988 (when he retired) until 2013. He will be missed by all.
