ROCHON, Gérard

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Gérard Rochon on August 18, 2024 at the age of 95.  He was the husband of Mrs. Yvonne Tessier, the son of the late Ephrem Rochon and of the late Simone Barnabé.  Besides his wife, he leaves his children Lorraine, Guy (Bev Wright), Lyse (Peter Larabie), Marc (Diane Horan) and Julie; his grandchildren Chris, David, Michelle, Emilie and Francis, his great-grandchildren Miki and Aurora.  He also leaves his brother Pierre (Denise Séguin), his sister Pierrette (the late Rhéal Bourdeau) as well as many brothers and sisters-in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.   He was predeceased by his sisters Denise (André Ferragne), Hélène and by his brother Michel (Maria-Hélèna Durand).

The Celebration of Life will be held with the immediate family.

A donation to Parkinson Canada, in his memory, would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the personnel of the CSSS Gatineau- CHSLD Hull (La Pietà Residence) for the good care provided to him.

La famille tant adorée de M.Rochon

Mes plus sincères condoléances a toute la famille. M. Rochon parlait constamment de vous tous . Il disait etre un homme très chanceux d avoir une femme et des enfants aussi formidable que vous . Votre père était un homme drôle, gentil, respectueux et avec beaucoup de savoir et de connaissances. Son décès m a beaucoup affecté et secoué. Il est le resident auquel je me suis le plus attachée. Il restera a toujours dans mes pensées.
