CAYER, Gérard Charles

It is with sadness that we share the passing of Gerard (Gerry) Charles Cayer on October 14, 2023 at the age of 81. Gerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Yvonne Célina Poulin, recently by his son Pierre (Valérie) and his siblings Gerard Perrier (Claudette) and Brian Lacelle. He was the son of Gerard Anselme Cayer and Noella Roy.

Gerry is survived by his daughter Rachelle and her husband Michel and their two children Maxime and Remi, as well as by Pierre’s children (Lexie and Emile) and Valerie, his daughter in-law; his brother Jean-Paul (Claire) and his sister Diane. He will be remembered always by a large loving family and some friends.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Sainte-Rose-de-Lima Church, 861 Saint-René Boulevard East in Gatineau.

The family wishes to thank the staff of CISSSO Pavillon de Gatineau for their support and the good care provided.
