Passed away peacefully at Aube-Lumière, Sherbrooke on Thursday September 22, 2011, at the age of 65. Geoffrey Smith beloved husband of the late Gloria Ross of 45 years. Dear father of Lisa (Ken), Cindy (Martin) and Judy (Grant), grandfather to Ashley and Tyler. He leaves to mourn his 7 brothers; Andy (Gail), David, Ron (Joan), Michael (Benny), Randy (Brenda), Gary (Sue), Brian (Pauline) and many nieces and nephews. Geoffrey was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Joan. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 1st, 2011 at 10 am at the St-James Anglican Church, Compton. Rev. Canon Ron West officiating. Burial at the St-James Cemetery, Compton. Donations in Geoffrey's memory may be made to the Maison-Aube-Lumière, 220, rue Kennedy Nord, Sherbrooke, QC J1E 2E7 would be appreciated by the family.
