SURCON, Fredrick Michael

On March 1st, 2025, in his 81st year, at his home in Bury, God released Fred from his earthly sufferings and set him free to have a heavenly, pain free life of joy.

Fred was the only child of the late Mike Surcon and the late Muriel Henderson of Toronto Ontario. He was a loving and devoted husband of Beverley Grey, a wonderful brother-in-law of Shirley Grey, a treasured step-father of Diane Veilleux and Matthieu Veilleux (Joaine Gatien), an adored grandfather of Dylan, Sierra (Ramphus), Branden, Mia, Tristan, Peyton, Alexis, and of his great grandchildren Noah and Elodie, also a beloved uncle of Christopher Grey (Catherine Langlois), and their family.

Having him in our lives made our world so much better. Fred leaves behind to mourn, his cherished family, relatives and friends. Until we meet again, we love you.

Loving you changed our lives, losing you did the same. 

We wish to thank Dr Mathieu Lavoie, Dre. Bitissama Essadiqi, and the CLSC of Cookshire for their excellent care, and their attentiveness.

There will be a graveside service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Make a Wish Canada or Sick Kids Hospital of Canada, would be greatly appreciated.
