SIMONEAU, François

It is with great sadness that we announce that Mr. François Simoneau passed away peacefully on February 24th at the age of 93.

He was the beloved husband to the late Barbara Simoneau (Cook), the loving father to Claudette (Jazz), Denis (Darlene), the awesome grandfather to Stéphanie, Amanda (Lawrence) and Vanessa (Mathieu) and the loving great-grandfather to Justin, Liam, Louis-Philippe, Sabrina, Kellina, Mathias, Zoey and Orianna. He also leaves several nieces and nephews as well as many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Robert.

A Celebration of life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 1369 La Vérendrye Boulevard West in Gatineau, on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025 at 10 am. The family will receive condolences as of 9:15 am.

The Simoneau family wishes to thank the CISSS Hull Hospital staff for their support and the good care provided.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

The Simoneau Family

Uncle Frank will be missed, but the lasting impression he had on so many lives will remain. I am so thankful for the time with had with your parents and the family growing up. Time spent with Uncle Frank and Aunt Barb, sharing memories of our dad kept us close to his memory growing up. For that we will always be grateful. Much love to all of you.
