Shirley and I are surprised at hearing of the sudden death of Francis.
Please accept our condolences at this difficult time.
We remember Francis as a kind and friendly person who would always wave from his front porch as we drove by. May he Rest In Peace.

Francis’ Family
I always enjoyed stopping at the farm to talk with Francis and look at his Hereford cattle when I was in Richmond visiting my parents. Francis was always friendly and in a good mood when I saw him.
One Christmas he hitched up his two horses and took our family for a sleigh ride through his pastures.
My family used to visit his sugar shack each Spring to sample his syrup - which we all thought was the best we ever tasted.
I will remember Francis as a man dedicated to hard work with a passion for farming - which he knew so well - and who was kind and thoughtful.

Our sincere sympathy to you all at this difficult time. Francis was a great visitor & always took time to have a visit when we met him. He was a good farmer & sugar maker, so many years we bought his delicious syrup. My brother was so pleased with the beautiful Herefords he bought from the farm. He will be missed by many. May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Peggy;
I just read the email from Linda and was shocked to hear the very sad news of Francis' passing.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.
We have fond memories of Francis, his sense of humor and friendliness and when we gathered for our nurses' reunions he always had such fun stories to relate. Always a smile.
May you be comforted by fond memories, family, and your many friends.
