BOWKER MCVETTY, Florence

August 15, 1932 - March 15, 2016

On Tuesday, March 15th, 2016 at the age of 83, Florence passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, ON surrounded by family. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years James McVetty.

Cherished mother of Lois (Fred), Kevin (Ivana), Brent (Donna). Adored grandmother to Tyson (Karie), Krista (Mike), Chelsea, Kirstie, Sofia, Caitlin (Ben), Jessica (Ben) and treasured great-grandmother to Elliott, Delaney, Connor, and Brooklynn. Florence will also be fondly remembered by her sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Florence was a former schoolteacher, avid reader and genealogist.

Resting at Cass Funeral Home, 15 Station, Sawyerville, on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm, and on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 10 am to 11 am; followed by the funeral service at 11 am.

Those wishing to honour Florence's memory may give a donation to the Compton County Historical and Museum Society at 374 Rte 253 Cookshire-Eaton, Quebec. J0B 1M0.
