LEBLOND, Fernand

Fernand Leblond passed away on August 2, 2024 in Gatineau, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of late Irène Bélanger and son of late Fabiola Lambert and the late Louis Leblond (and second wife Colombe Leblond, née Forget). He was the loving father of Marc (Sylvie Champagne) and Julie (Pierre Legault); the adoring grandfather of Paskale, Alexandre, Michelle and Mélodie, and great-grandfather of Noah and Théo. He was also the dear brother of Diane (Lorne Johnston), Denise (late Steve Dugdale), Céline (Dave Connelly) and Linda. He is survived by two sisters-in-law Anita (Herald Robert) and Diane (Gilles Delorme) and many nephews, nieces and friends (his best friend Bernard Mayer). He was predeceased by one sister-in-law Gisèle Bélanger Kehoe.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 10 am at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 750 Maloney Boulevard East in Gatineau.  You can express your condolences to the family as of 9:15. It will be possible to view the ceremony live or by replay at the following link:
