STATTON, Eugene

Passed away at the CHUS Fleurimont, on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Anita Cormier. Dear father of Carole, Pierre (the late Louise Tremblay), Raymond (Sylvie Rouleau), Alain (Marie-Claude Lemay), the late Linda and the late Clement. Cherished grandfather of Mark, Anna, Johnathan, Jackie, Jennifer, Annie, Kathy, Judy and great grandfather of Tera, Tory, Trevor, Kasey, Jessy-James, Damian, Ethan, Théo, Ellie and Félicia. He leaves to mourn his brothers and sisters Lydia (Doug), Lionel (the late Ruby), Judy and Maurice (the late Marie-Jane). Predeceased by his sister June (Donald) and by his brothers Chester and Junior (the late Ruth). Eugene also leaves to mourn his sisters-in-law Albertine (the late Léo-Paul) and Noëlla (the late Élie) along with many cousins and dear friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 15 Station St. Sawyerville, where family and friends may call on, Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 9 am to 12 followed by a celebration of his life at 12. Father Pierre Doyon officiating. Interment in the St-Rosaire Cemetery, Sawyerville. The family would like to thank the staff on 7th floor at the CHUS Fleurimont, the CLSC, Dr. Marie-Eve Lessard and also Dr. Bronwick for the wonderful care given to Mr. Statton.
