May 23,1945 to September 8,2012

Eloise left us on the early morning of September the 8th surcoming to an exhausting battle with cancer. Eloise is survived by her two brothers Leslie and wife Lenore of Humbolt Saskatchewan and Richard and Collette of Cornwall Ontario. Eloise will be missed by her long time partener and love Harold Hodge and her four children Niel ,Debra, Mike and Mark. Eloise grew up in the country near Libbytown and Ayer's Cliff Quebec and held fond memories of her roots in country life, and as a humble woman took notice and appreciation in many of the simple miracles of everday life. Ellie loved long walks outside surrounded by these simple treasures. Eloise spent hours adoreing antiques and loved to write and share poetry. Eloise spent time in prayer and praise for her many blessings and friends and she will be remembered by us for her good cheer, her great love a quick smile and frequent laugh. Anyone wishing to share memories and thoughts are invited to a visitation at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) on Monday ,September 17, 2012 from 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, September 18th from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel . Pastor Randy Crozier officiating. Interment in the Pine Hill Cemetery Magog on Wednesday, September 19th at 2 pm. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 3330, Rue King West, bureau 130, Sherbrooke, QC J1L 1C9 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
