Elizabeth Milks, née Furrie It is with great sadness that the Milks family announce the passing of Elizabeth Milks, née Furrie, on June 22, 2013 at the age of 77. She was the beloved wife of Lorne Milks. She leaves to mourn her two daughters: Judy (Gilles Lemire) and Karen (Bruce Winder). She also leaves behind her four grand-daughters: Stéphanie, Caroline, Claudia and Alyssa; her sisters: Eileen, Jeannine (Greg) and Janet as well as her brother-in-law Kenny Milks (Huguette), her nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her son Glen and her sister Rita. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at La Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais, 95 boulevard Cité-des-Jeunes in Gatineau (Hull sector). The family will receive condolences at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be much appreciated.
