Eleanor Mae Roy (née McGregor)
June 8th 1942 – Oct 13th, 2020

The family announces with sorrow her passing on Tuesday October 13, 2020 at the Montfort hospital at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by Raymond Eucher Roy, her husband of 55 years, her brother Allan McGregor and her sister Donna Meek. Eleanor will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Eleanor is survived by her children Stephan and Jennifer; her grandchildren: Gabriel and Neve and her sister Judy and her extended family. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County.The family will be having a celebration of Eleanor’s life at a later date. Eleanor’s gentle and peaceful presence will be greatly missed. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Funeral Co-operative of Ottawa www.fco-cfo.coop. 613-288-2689

The Family

Elly and I met in Charlottetown, P.E.I and continued our friendship after we had both moved back to Ottawa. Elly was such a great friend- kind, generous, thoughtful. I will always remember her. My heart felt sympathy to her family. She thought the world of you.
