MONTGOMERY, Eileen

Passed away peacefully at the Wales Home in Richmond, QC on Sunday September 25th, 2005, Eileen Montgomery in her 95th year. Born in Richmond QC on November 18th, 1910, she was the only Daughter of the late Irena and Nathan Montgomery. Retired teacher of the former Chambly County High School, who devoted her time, talent and love to her many students. Eileen was an active member for over 25 years, of the United Church Women, Outreach and Social Action committee and the Ecumenical Community Services Committee of St-Lambert, QC. Eileen was the recipient of the Certificate of Civilian Merit award on April 18th, 1995 for her involvement in community service through which she had given hope and assistance to many disadvantaged people. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, 819-826-2502 / www.casshomes.ca , where friends may visit on Wednesday Sept. 28th from 1 to 1:50 PM followed by the funeral service at 2 PM with the Rev. Ian Mackay officiating. Interment in St-Anne's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Outreach and Social Committee, 415 Mercille Ave., St-Lambert QC, J4P 2L6 or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
