PHILIPPE, Edmond

It is with regret that we announce the passing of Edmond "Pit" Philippe on March 30^th, 2024, in his home, at the age of 82.  He was the husband of Lisette Archambault and the son of the late Émile Philippe and the late Florence Ramsay.

Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his two sons Stéphane and Martin (Lanza); his two grandsons Samuel (son of Stéphane) and Vincent (son of Martin).  He also leaves his sisters Edith (Roy Nugent), Denise (the late Charles Morgan), Marguerite and Suzanne (Dave), his brother-in-law Claude Archambault, many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by his brothers Gilbert, Archie, Denis (Pierre) and by his sisters Louise (Preston), Diane (Edmond), Claire (Fernand) and Lornay (Jimmy).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 2 pm at la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, 95 de la Cité des Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau (Hull sector).  Family will receive condolences as of 1:15.  It will be possible to view the ceremony live or by replay via https://commemora.tv/fr/diffusions/88650 In case of a technical problem, it will be possible to view at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory would be appreciated.
