Walter, Patricia and greater Family

I am saddened by the news and want to express my condolences. Some of my fondest memories growing up are directly derived by being lucky enough to grow up next to the Dougherty family farm. This includes the forward thinking farming methods, syrup production, and I would say that Dagwoods (our name for him) favourite place on the farm was in the woods logging. I remember watching Mr Dougherty (Durwoods father) pushing up corn in the bunk and it just amazed me, I was young. Favourite memory would be spreading manure, we joined farm forces (equipment) to get it done quickly and not to often you would hear Durwood curse, but he did with Sam and I but it was all in jest and every load he loaded he would add an off colour comical comment from atop the clam loader. We worked hard, but it was fun. Thank you for looking after our family farm dog Captain when we couldn't.
