MILLS, Douglas

Passed away peacefully at his home in North Hatley, QC on Sunday, February 12th 2006 at the age of 73 . Douglas Bruce Mills, beloved husband of Joan Sterling, dear father of the late Butch ( Judy ) and the late Nancy; cherished grandfather of Ashley, Robert and Justin ( Heather ); Doug also leaves to mourn his great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Tristin; and sisters: Alma ( Dick Gale ) and Karen ( Ray Bala ) and many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 6 Belvidere St. Lennoxville, QC Tel: 564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca, where friends may visit on Wednesday, February 15th 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,and on Thursday, February 16th 2006 from 1 to 2 p.m.,followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Lynda Harrison officiating. Interment in Reedsville Cemetery in the spring. As memorial tributes, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 3330 rue King Ouest, office # 130, Sherbrooke, QC J1L 1C9 , would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Dr. Danielle Fisch and to the staff of the C.L.S.C. of Magog.
