JONES, Douglas Leslie

1934-2011-   It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing in Ayer’s Cliff Qc, of D. Leslie Jones on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the age of 77. Cherished husband of Freda Murdock for 34 years and his late wife Joyce Conrick. Loving father of: Douglas (Linda), April, Evan, Brian (Sharon), Susan (Tim), Wendy (Alain), Ann (Andre) and Shirley (Dave); dear grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Leslie will also be sadly missed by other relatives and many friends. Leslie was an active member of many technical associations with the pulp and paper community throughout his career. As a tribute to his memory, donations made to the Children’s Wish Foundation 0f Canada, Quebec West Division, 4200 St. Lawrence Blvd., Suite 908, Montreal, Qc. H2W 2R2 would be greatly appreciated by the family. A funeral service will be held in St. George Anglican Church in the presence of his ashes on Monday, October 31, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Barbara Wintle officiating.
