Burgess, Dianne

BURGESS, Dianne

1953 - 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dianne Marie Burgess at the age of 71. Supported at her bedside by her loving family, she passed peacefully on December 27th, 2024.

Dianne will forever be cherished in our hearts and will be greatly missed by her brothers Lloyd and Wayne, sisters Betty Boutin and Georgia Hodge along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Joan Patafie.

Dianne had a huge heart and the most infectious laugh. She was fearless, witty, kind, incredibly compassionate and a source of positivity. She loved birds and butterflies and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and listening to country music.

Cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest beside her mother Grace Burgess in the spring/summer of 2025 at the Sand Hill Cemetery. As per her wishes, this will be a private celebration of life ceremony.

The family also wishes to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Brendalee Piironen along with the staff and the many residents who knew her at the Wales Home in Richmond, QC. She spoke fondly of the special relationships she forged and the excellent care she received.

In her memory, donations to a charity of your choosing would be appreciated.
