vous chers voisins de la rue Breton
Cette nouvelle m'a touché droit au cœur. Malgré la distance qui nous sépare, soyez assuré de mon amitié. Mes plus sincères condoléances.
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Denise Ouellette on August 26, 2022, at the age of 86. She was the wife of Benoît Carignan, the daughter of the late Robert Ouellette and the late Clara Pellerin. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Alain (Joy), Sylvain (Sylvie), Maryse, Stéphane and Sonia, her 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her brother Jean-Guy (Thérèse), her sister Diane as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Yolande (Alcide) and Thérèse (Anatole).
Denise started working at a young age at the Inn where she learned to make those famous pies! It is also where she met her better half Benoît. Being a great cook, she worked at Le Lutin qui rit, Mont-Glisson, Yum-Yum potato chips in Warwick and finally babysitting. She was very athletic and enjoyed cross-country skiing, walking and cycling. She was a thrifty, positive, loving, accepting woman who was willing to help everyone. She left in her glory leaving behind an example of an extraordinary intercessor and woman of faith until the end.
A celebration of her life will be held on September 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Le Centre Church located at 1080 St. Peter Street in Orleans.
Your expressions of sympathy can be made through a donation to the Centre Church to dons@egliselecentre.com.
The family would like to thank the staff of the CHSLD Le Foyer du Bonheur for the good care provided to her.
